Take Action

MONITOR CONSTRUCTION

As pipelines are under construction, the issue becomes potential damage to land, water, wells and wetlands.  Watch here and at our Facebook page for instructions about how to monitor and report any concerns.

TELL YOUR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS “NO”

The Nexus Gas Transmission Pipeline as proposed through Northwest Ohio is dangerous. The pipeline and the Waterville compressor station would be unnecessarily close to homes, schools and towns. It would trench through sensitive wetlands and hundreds of acres of the globally rare Oak Openings Region.  There are ways to reduce and avoid the impacts, but so far our proposals have not been acted on.

Our elected officials need to hear from us.  Time is of the essence.  PLEASE join your neighbors in voicing your opposition.

Speak up, be heard. Voice your opposition and tell our elected officials to reroute the Nexus pipeline and compressor station

FERC must hear from us regarding their draft Environmental Impact Statement.  Our primary goal is to fill the room to capacity and to get effective comments documented in the public record. Your presence matters. Tell your neighbors and please plan to come and support your community in saying NO to this destructive project.

FERC is primarily focused on environmental concerns… that means Air Quality, Air pollution, Water Quality, Wetlands, Drainage, Flooding, Drinking wells, De-watering issues, Native Plants/Animals, Endangered Species, damage to the Oak Openings Region. Please tell all your neighbors along the route. Waterville, Whitehouse, Neapolis, Swanton, Metamora… this is our last chance to make our opposition heard.
